Chaya Skuse
Client Service Team Leader – Financial PlanningDipFP
I’ve always been drawn to helping people make sense of things. I love taking something complex or overwhelming and turning it into something clear and manageable.
A lot of what I do goes beyond paperwork and processes. Clients often come to us during big, stressful periods in their lives, juggling major financial decisions while dealing with personal pressures. My role is to be a steady presence through that. Helping them feel like they don’t have to figure everything out alone, bringing some order to the chaos, and watching them go from overwhelmed to back in control.
Outside of work, I’ve become a bit of a sports-travel parent. Weekends away, competitions, road trips. It’s taken me all over Australia and overseas, following my kids as they pursue their sport. I love every minute of it.
I’m also a child welfare officer at Sutherland Little Athletics Club.

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?I’d love to have dinner with Nadia Comăneci. She’s an Olympic gymnast who made history with the first perfect 10, and I’ve always admired her discipline and composure under pressure. I’d be really interested in how she stayed so focused and grounded, especially so young. There’s a lot in that mindset that carries into how we support clients through big decisions.
